On election night, Craig Muhammad doesn’t plan to be glued to the television. He’s more invested in continuing the work he started in prison as a mediator in the community violence prevention space.

Casting a ballot after serving in prison comes with joy and pain for the formerly incarcerated, particularly because not everyone has their rights restored after completing their sentence.
